Shop Rome First Treasure Hunt — December 9 to December 15

The Rome Area Chamber of Commerce challenges shoppers to test their knowledge of Rome's retail treasures-for a chance to win a bundle of prizes worth $365! You can also pick up your Official Treasure Hunt Question Scroll at the Rome Chamber or at Jervis Public Library, during the week of December 9 through 15.

Thirty-one stores provided the Shop Rome First elves with one question about their store, location, or the special treasures they offer .

  • Hunt for the correct answers while you are shopping during Treasure Hunt week (Sunday, December 9 through Saturday, December 15). Each store will display only one (1) Official Shop Rome First Treasure Hunt Answer Sign somewhere within their place of business.
  • Only one (1) answer is correct per question.
  • Submit completed forms to the Chamber: via fax (337-1715), or hand-delivered to the office by 4:30 PM Monday, December 17 (139 W. Dominick Street, Rome, NY 13440), or by mail (all entries must be postmarked by Monday, December 17).
  • Those forms with ALL thirty-one (31) correct answers will be entered into a separate, special Treasure Hunt drawing. Winner will be selected on Wednesday, December 19. Value of the Treasure Hunt prize bundle is $365.
